pictures of natural sciencies history museum carmen garrote

NATURAL SCIENCES HISTORY MUSEUM

This Sunday we went to natural sciences history museum, it is in London.

There we saw: dinosaurs, birds’ extinct animals’ earth, (earthquakes, volcanos rocks…) and a big wheal in mammals section.

There was a very long queue to see the big T-rex (that was very real, I made some pictures but it was so dark) and to see the big wheal it was so big but it wasn’t very real…

We went to an earthquake experience that wasn’t very real I think that earthquakes must be more extremes. The floor wasn’t moving much.

While we were waiting to see the big T-rex, we saw some dinosaurs (you have some pictures down) there were some robots looking at you, posters explaining things about evolution of dinosaurs that are now animals like penguins…

We saw some fossils too, and dinosaurs made with bones that they have found…

I think that we need more time because we only saw a few things.

Summer fair in Bishop's Hatfield school

On th twentisixth of June, in Bishop's Hatfield school, we had the summer fair. It was great!
That day was a no uniform day so you could wear your own clothes. We had normal class except the two last lessons that we were preparing all for the Summer fair (it was after school). There were lots of things: 3tombolas, a big bouncy slide,  3 cupcakes posts from 10 pence to 1.80 pounds, a place were you pay and you could throw sponges to the teachers...
We threw down the big slide and it was very funny.
Then we tried four times the tombola and we won just 2 thingns. We ate lots of sweets and specially cupcakes ( for 10 pence). It started at three o' clock and finished at six o' clock many of us stayed there until half past five. It was a very nice day.

=≡=MY FEELING=≡=

Before the trip to London I was a little nervous but I stepped forward, I got on the plane and arrived very happy. The school is very good three weeks will fly by the school has a very good environment, teachers are very friendly, the English class are good but many times I do not hear much, but try to learn English I do not know everything.
Best of London are the tours they are very funny times I  go with friends we make jokes.

when I return to Spain I will feel very happy, tired of travel and happy to see my family and will be good to talk to my  friends and family in Spanish again.

Differences between Spain and England

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SPAIN AND ENGLAND

Probably for most of the people the main difference between these two countries is the weather, and I totally agree because in these almost two weeks I have been in England the sun was shining for one day and a half meanwhile in Spain it shines everyday.
English schedule is also very different from the Spanish one. English people have breakfast more or less at the same time as we do, but they spend less time having lunch than Spanish people, but the most different meal is dinner. In Spain, people have dinner at 9.30 p.m.-10.00 p.m. however English people have dinner at 6.00 p.m-6.30 p.m so that is a very important difference.
The manners children learn and the behaviour are also different. I think English people learn how to respect others and the manners taught are the same but English people actually make use of them everyday and are used to using them but Spanish people only use them in special occasions or when it is specifically required.
These are the most important differences in my opinion.

Differents kinds of SPORTS IN ENGLAND, in Goffs School.

Today, I'm gonna to talk about the diffents kind  of english sports and spanish sports.

In this trip, in Goffs School, we had a Sports Day in the school.
In the sports day, we had a competition between other groups.
First we played "ROUNDERS". In this game, you must to play with a bat, and the boller have to throw the ball to you, and you must to hit the ball and throw the ball all of far as you can and then, you must to run to the different bases and if you pass all of basses, you win a point for you team, but if the other team catch the ball when you are running, you are eliminate. This game is very similar to "Baseball" .

After Rounders, we played "DOGDE BALL". This game consist in eliminate all of the players in the other team. In this game, there are six balls in the centre of the track, and when the umpire give the signal, you must to run to try to catch the balls sooner and you must to throw the ball into a player from the other team and thus you eliminate your opponent.  This game is very similar to "Balon Prisionero", a spanish sports game.

Also, when we went in Grendwich, we played football into a garden. We had a lot of fun because football is a very competitive sport!

I've got some pictures when we were playing:

Tomorrow, all of year 8, are going to dance and I think we are going to having much fun dancing! That's all for today. Thank you for read my post!
